According to recent EPA studies, indoor air quality is one of the highest-ranking health risks in the country. Public awareness and new occupational safety regulations are increasing the demand for assessment and remediation services for a wide-range of indoor environmental quality problems. ENSAT maintains licensed asbestos inspectors, Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH), management planners, and project designers in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

We provide turnkey asbestos project management performed in accordance with NESHAP and AHERA regulations, from inspection to abatement, through a network of certified and licensed abatement contractors. In addition, we provide turnkey lead-based paint services, ranging from inspection to abatement to demolition, for residential and commercial buildings, water tanks, bridges, and super structures.

Qualifications

ENSAT's indoor environmental specialists each have over 12 years of experience in industrial hygiene and occupational and health training. Our certifications include:

  • EPA-Accredited Certification Programs in Asbestos
  • AHERA Building Inspector, Management Planner, Project Designer, Project Monitor, and Worker/Supervisor/Competent Person for Maryland and Virginia.
  • Collecting and Analyzing Asbestos Air Samples (NIOSH 582 Equivalent Course)
  • OSHA/HAZWOPER Lead Paint Abatement Worker
  • Hazardous Materials Training Instructor (Maryland Fire & Rescue Level 1)
  • Certified Chemical Instructor, United States Army (Since 1986)
