ENSAT Corporation has installed hundreds of new petroleum storage tank systems designed to meet the needs of each individual facility, as well as to satisfy federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. ENSAT offers turn-key service capabilities that include preliminary engineering design, regulatory permitting and notification, tank system installation, electronic monitoring and leak detection, and inspections. Our certified installers routinely install both underground storage tank systems (USTs) and above ground storage tank systems manufactured by Total Containment, Xerxes, Highland Tank, Hoover, and ConVault. Our underground supply and return piping design and construction primarily utilizes Enviroflex brand flexible piping to provide secondary containment. By providing the highest quality environmental services, ENSAT has restored value to hundreds of properties throughout the country.
Since 1989, ENSAT has installed task systems in nearly every state across the U.S., including Hawaii and Puerto Rico. We regularly install not only underground systems, but also above ground storage tank systems, most of which are constructed with double-wall containment and/or contained within fire-rated concrete vaults. Above ground storage tank installations can also be equipped with electronic monitoring and leak detection capabilities. In addition, we routinely perform removal and permanent closure of existing tank systems in preparation for replacement storage tank installations. Our construction staff is complimented by an environmental consulting team of professionals who can immediate assistance should any environmental complications arise during a tank removal.
ENSAT has installed hundreds of new electronic monitoring and leak detection devices, as well as conducting annual inspections of existing systems. These systems offer computerized console units that provide print-outs which document the storage tank system status; including:
Recommended systems are typically equipped with sensors that monitor the interstitial space of double-wall tank systems and/or the interstitial space within secondary containment piping.
Increasing numbers of states are requiring annual inspections of electronic tank monitoring systems. Our certified inspectors have provided inspection and maintenance services for storage tank systems throughout the U.S., including Hawaii, as well as all of the facilities operated by a major telecommunications company within the state of Florida.
All ENSAT UST operations personnel are required to complete a 40-hour training program which satisfies OSHA standard 1910.120. In addition, most personnel are multi-certified within our environmental consulting programs and thus are knowledgeable of all pertinent UST regulations and RCRA. It is our business practice to conduct all UST projects safely and in strict adherence to the pertinent regulations.
